Inaugurated in August, 2003, in a solitary spot which is reached along a forest track, this establishment, built from stone, wood and slate,
stands a few kilometres from the French route of the Camino de Santiago. Most of its cosy rooms, those of both the main building and those located
in two adjoining houses, have large windows overlooking the river, the lush autochthonous forests surrounding it, with luck, also give views of
the bucolic Pambre castle in the background, one of the finest examples of medieval military architecture in Galicia. For its atmosphere,
the care put into its decoration and its sports offer - bikes, trekking, canoeing or rafting - it could almost be a rural tourism house or a
charming hotel, but it is also a spa where, among other more conventional treatments, it also offers treatment with alternative therapies.
