Between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, this spa reached such a bustle of social and cultural activity
that it even had its own printing press. In the Tea Valley, surrounded by the immense tranquillity that emanates from the tiny village
that gives it its name, both the thermal zone and the hotel, a design by Antonio Palacios whose refurbishment skilfully combined light,
stone and wood, never cease to incorporate new services year after year. In fact, in spring. 2004, 46 new rooms are to be inaugurated
in the old water-bottling plant, plus the Palace of Water, with 3,000 m2 of avant-garde facilities connected to the hotel and the modern spa,
which from then on will be devoted to therapeutic activities, devoting the Palace of Water to more pleasure-oriented possibilities,
with six action pools, seven saunas at different temperatures and humidity, a children’s zone and even a natural fruit-juice bar.
The complex also has an 18-hole golf course and countless activities like trekking, rafting, horse-riding or mountain-bikes.
During the holiday seasons, there is also a kindergarten with activities for children, and for their parents, concerts, routes, wine-tasting
and even discussions on cooking and nutrition or on the history of this traditional spa.
